Apeiroverse is operated by Jim Cassady (“I,” “we”). This page explains what information Apeiroverse collects, why, and what choices you have about it. If anything here is unclear, email admin@apeiroverse.com.

You can explore without an account

Looking around Apeiroverse — zooming into worlds other people have made — never requires signing in or giving us any personal information. An account is only needed to create a world or claim a spot inside one.

What I collect

When you create an account, I collect:

  • Your email address — used to send you a sign-in link, or provided by Google if you sign in that way.
  • A display name you choose — shown publicly on anything you create or claim.

When you use the service, I also collect:

  • What you create — the descriptions you type and the images generated from them.
  • Basic technical data — your IP address and request activity, used only to enforce daily usage limits and block abuse/bots.
  • Reports — if you report a piece of content, or someone reports yours, that report is stored and reviewed.

How I use it

  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To generate the images you ask for, and to automatically screen what you submit for suitability before anything is drawn.
  • To enforce daily creation limits and prevent spam or abuse.
  • To review and act on reports of inappropriate content.
  • To respond if you contact me for support.

Who I share it with

I don’t sell your personal information. To run the service, some data passes through these providers, each acting on my behalf:

  • Supabase — hosts the database, handles sign-in, and stores uploaded images.
  • OpenAI — generates images from the descriptions you submit.
  • Anthropic — automatically checks submitted text for suitability before anything is drawn.
  • Resend — sends sign-in emails.
  • Vercel — hosts the website.
  • Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
  • Cloudflare — a bot-verification check shown on the sign-in form, where enabled.

What’s public

Your display name, the worlds and spots you create, and a showcase page listing your public worlds are all visible to anyone. A world you mark “Private” is left out of the public listing, but isn’t fully hidden — anyone with the direct link can still open it. Don’t submit anything you don’t want seen publicly.

Children’s privacy

Apeiroverse’s content filters are built for a general, family audience, and exploring the site requires no personal information at all. Creating an account, though, is not intended for children under 13 without a parent or guardian’s involvement. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email admin@apeiroverse.com and I will delete it.

Your choices

  • Change your display name or email anytime from “Manage account.”
  • Request that your account be deleted by emailing admin@apeiroverse.com. Deleting your account removes your sign-in and personal info; worlds and spots you already created stay up (just no longer tied to your account), unless you ask for specific content to be taken down too.

Cookies

Apeiroverse uses a cookie to keep you signed in. There are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
